Recently changed the Tupperware container to a more traditional ammo can since this cache has been here for 15 years, hoping it will be here another 15! Cleaned it out of crummy stuff and left some nice goodies for kids and adults! Enjoy! BTW This cache used to be fairly close to a trail that is now closed. You will have to go a ways off trail to find it.
This is a great area for hiking in the foothills northwest of Golden. There is a nice variety of trails to choose from, and the views of Denver and the plains are beautiful! Be sure to take a walk along the Longhorn trail while you're out this way. The cache has the Far & Away Long Distance Cache that originated from Georgia. I've taken the little plane on some flybys here in Colorado, and will send more pictures to the Adventurers soon. I hope whoever picks the plane up will take it to some interesting place(s) and will share some photos. The cache also contains a baby seal bean toy, Hot Wheels Lamborghini, and a few other little trinkets. Please hide the cache well... It should not be seen without close inspection!
