This is part of my 1st series 'CROSS ISLAND TRAIL' series.(My 2nd
series is 'The MATAPEAKE TRAIL'). The Cross Island Trail built from
98-01 is a 5+ mile long trail that goes from Terrapin Nature Park,
Rt 50 & Rt 8, (just as you come onto Kent Island) to The
Chesapeake Exploration Center On Kent Narrows.
It is full of great habitats & fun things to see along the
way. You can walk, skate, ride a bike or just go from spot to spot.
It is ADA accessable. (Watch for my Cross Island Trail:Bridge Over
cache & you can read about all the trail has to offer.)
For this stop I did a C&D at what I called the Creepy House.
There is nothing tough about this at all. You can almost drive up
to it but that's why I put it where I did so you would HAVE to get
out of your car, if you're driving. Plus it's a cool photo op.

As always please remember that the environment is delicate even
if it doesn't look like it. Be kind. Also be aware that we do have
poisonous reptiles here so if you go off trail be cautious but most
of all ENJOY!
Sadly the CREEPY HOUSE is just a memory now. It has fallen
victum to the wrecking crane so you will just have to imagine what
was there on the hill. At least until something new comes along,
which I'm sure won't be another creepy house :( None the less,
ENJOY the stop here.
