On his way to his quarters Walter ran into the captain. Nice outfit asshole. That stunt you pulled is going to cost this ship a days pay. Said the captain.
Take it out of my pay replied Walter. And give me the rest right now.
What is your hurry we wont be in port for two weeks.said the captain.
I’m not going to port and I want it in gold. Said Walter
Holy crap your going native arnt you. Said the captain.
Well lets see shall we. I can go back and retire to a small apartment in some filthy city on an over polluted planet that is so crowded you cant even find a tree or I can stay here. Birds,trees clean lakes and best of all nice people. People who are not so crowded together that they hate each other. Said Walter
The admiral is not going to like this one bit said the captain.
What the admiral likes or does not like is not my concern any more .You were two weeks late picking me up. I have been retired five days now. So it is my right to get off this ship any time I want. Said Walter.

Walter handed him a small stack of papers. My pay is on the top paper and this is the deed to my apartment. I would like you to give it to my sister. Said Walter.
