Come join us for a meet and greet with "Hobo and Miss" from Devon, England.
Back in December of 2012, "Team Fleet Feet and the Huff-N-Puffs" - I can't fly my pigeons can, CatBird Tales, Kidnapped Sister, and lmcgisme, found Wisconsin half of the Devon/Wisconsin Exchange cache http://coord.info/GC3MZ3C. With the first part found, I can't fly my pigeons can they teamed up with Hobo and Miss to complete the set of caches and claim the coveted smileys.
From that point to today, they have become friends and kept in touch thru Facebook. Some time ago, Hobo and Miss decided to take a trip to the United States, which included some time in the Madison area. During their time in the country, they hope to complete the Jasmer Series and visit many other caches of interest.
My friend lmcgisme had a scheduling conflict when Hobo and Miss would be in the Madison area, so asked me to host an event in Madison where this couple could relax and meet area cachers. Please join us at The Great Dane in Fitchburg for food, drink and probably some interesting stories from abroad from 6pm to about 8pm.
We'll be in the upstairs pool hall area. It's not reserved for a private party but they will reserve the tables along the railing right above the bar for us.
