Geocache Description:

Micro-Palooza has been replaced!

Micro-Palooza

This cache was originally going to be called -'100 bottles of cache on the wall' .  Alas, we could not find a readily availiable wall out in nature.  My answer was this: Micro-Palooza.

This is a large camoflaged ammo box filled with over 100 micro-cache seedlings that are ready to place.  These are high quality micro-caches that started out as diabetic test strip cans from a friend of mine (thanks Don!).  So these cans are all water tight film size cans (for those of us who know what a film can is) that have a lining that will absorb excess moisture, keeping the inside log dry.  They also come with a Rite-in-Rain log, ready to go.

I would like to ask a few things though:
First, this is a cache that I created myself, and as Wheely can attest, they don't always stand up to the rigors of the outdoors, so please be cautious with it.  If it encounters any problem, please let me know right away, so I can repair it.  Too often I find out about problems with the cache from the next people to find it.  An insert: As Wheely can once again attest, my first trys do not hold up well.  I guess from now on I'll call Wheely before I place a cache ;-).  The second placement of this cache is slightly different and has been moved as well.  As always, please be cautious with it and let me know how it goes.

Second, I would like to keep track of all these seedlings and post them on this page (in addition to where you post them) so when you post one of the seedlings, please let me know about it and I will add it here.

Third, please only take one micro per log book and Geocaching log entry.  These took me abaout a year to collect, and I'd like to believe that they don't disappear in a couple of weeks.  Also, if you are going to take a micro, place it!  That's why this cache was made.

There is an FTF prize of THREE caches, one micro, one even smaller micro and a nano, all with logs.  Also included are my two pathtags and an FTF pin and a GITD micro cache pin.  Wheely (natch) was FTF.

A Side Note:  This cache is not a normal latch-hinge ammo box but rather a latch-latch style.  Please use caution when opening.  Also please take the time to re-hide the cache as well or better than you found it.  Thanks!
