Geocache Description:

Located near a cool little cave in Brushy Creek MUD Park. Replaced again in Feb. '14

UPDATE Jan '24— This area is overgrown and has much ice storm damage. The last path doesn't exist anymore. I had a hard time finding it myself. The cave is grated. There are 2 other small openings. The cache is within 20 feet of the cave. It's our 1st cache and is intended to be easy. Lots of cactus and brush, so it may not be OK for very small kids. Open paths most of the way. Park on side street at N 30 30.135 W 097 43.629. Brienne Dr. Walk down trail, looking to the right for a culvert. Walk across a dry creek (usually) to find an open path to left. Easily seen on Google maps sat. view. many birds, deer sign. Great hike/bike trail, frisbee golf. NOTE: Someone reported poison ivy. I put a map in images that shows a clear path without bushwhacking. Please REHIDE cache well, local kids keep finding it!!!! After heavy rain, creek may be hazardous. There is a photo in the gallery called Easy Access which shows the path.
