A place where manatees can be viewed, especially during cool weather.
Often you can spot manatees swimming in the water near the end of this canal. We have seen as many as a dozen at one time. Please post pics. As of May 31, 2009, the cache is now a small 3x2 lock-n-lock container concealed IN the base of the tree (north side of the tree). It is easier to find, but must be well concealed when you re-hide it. You could conceivably drive to within a few feet of the tree. However, there are new signs that prohibit parking in the grassy area in front of the canal wall and the tree, so you may have to be quick on your retrieve and replacement.
