This microcache is hidden outside the Catholic church in Marco. (The priest gave permission.) If you would like to see the inside of the church, you can knock at the Parochia next door during business hours (9 am to 1 pm & 3 pm to 5 pm) and the secretary can open up the church if she’s not too busy. A donation of a few soles would be appreciated. There’s some interesting art inside the church. To the left of the altar is a painting of Jesus appearing to Mary Magdalene after the resurrection. Notice that in this painting, Mary is a Peruvian woman and the skyline behind Jesus’ crypt is the Huaytapallana massif, the snowy mountains that can be seen to the southeast from some of the geocaches in this área. (Aukimalca Summit - Cumbre Aukimalca has the best view). To the right of the altar is a painting of Jesus in the Marco town square. The model for the kneeling woman was the church secretary. The men standing in the square are all the Polish missionaries who have served in this part of Peru. One of them brought the icon of a Polish saint that is in the east sacistry.
Sunday mass is 9:30 to 10:30, and you can slip in to see the inside of the church if you happen to be here right before or after mass. Don’t come in to tour the church while mass is in progress, though.

Este microcache está oculta fuera de la iglesia católica en Marco. (El sacerdote le dio permiso.) Si desea ver el interior de la iglesia, puede llamar a la parochia lado durante horas de oficina 09 a.m.-1 p.m. y 15:00-17:00) y el secretario puede abrir el iglesia si no está demasiado ocupado. Una donación de unos pocos soles sería apreciada. Hay un poco de arte interesante dentro de la iglesia. A la izquierda del altar hay una pintura de Jesús que aparece a María Magdalena después de la resurrección. Nótese que en esta pintura, María es una mujer peruana y el horizonte detrás de la cripta de Jesús es el macizo del Huaytapallana, las montañas nevadas que se pueden ver en el sureste de algunas de las geocachés en este área. (Aukimalca Summit tiene la mejor vista). A la derecha del altar hay una pintura de Jesús en la plaza Marco ciudad. El modelo para la mujer arrodillada fue la secretaria de la iglesia. Los hombres que estaban en la plaza son todos los misioneros polacos que han servido en esta parte del Perú. Uno de ellos trajo el icono de un santo polaco que está en el sacistry este.
Misa dominical Son las 9:30 a 10:30 y se puede deslizar para ver el interior de la iglesia, si le toca estar aquí justo antes o después de la misa. No entraré a visitar la iglesia, mientras la masa está en curso, sin embargo.
