Where: Along the mangroves.

The Area:
Well its that time again and I would like to ask as many of you to come and assist us with this clean up.
This is going to be a big one, the Mangroves catch a whole lot of the rubbish that which washes down the drains, driftwood and since the rubbish dump used to be here, well you get the picture.
This area is quite a large area and it has grasped a lot of rubbish it will need quite a bit to get picked up. This is going to be an effort and as many hands on as possible would be helpful.
There is unknown types of rubbish, debris and who knows what along the mangrove edge so if you have a good pair of gloves, bring them, otherwise I will have a fair amount of disposable ones to be able to use.
The Whangarei District Council have given us 20 council bags to utilize, this will mean we will be able to dump the rubbish for FREE!! thank you to them.
KNZB Clean up week takes place from 14th to 20th of September 2014. It’s easy to get involved, simply join an organised Clean Up Event in your area, or set up your own Clean Up Event that other people can come along to.
