This cache is replacing the previous two caches that were on this hill. They were A Field of Corn & A Champion Country which both got muggled more than once.
We like this hill because there is not much elevation to it, but the views east & west from the viewpoints are outstanding. It would be a shame not to keep a cache up here.
This cache is a nice and easy multi that takes in both viewpoints. It will also take you past the cup & ring marked rocks that are on the top of the hill.
There was a disposable camera in the cache, that was there for visitors to record their visit. Pictures now developed and on display below. Many thanks to everyone who took the time to take a picture.
At the listed co-ordinates you shall find a viewpoint facing East. From this viewpoint gather the following information -
Traprain Law - 4A.5 km

Carry on up the path to the second viewpoint (N55° 54.811 W003° 23.676) that faces West. From this viewpoint gather the following information -
Ben Venue - 7D.5 km
Ben Ledi - 4E.5 miles
Cairnpapple Hill - 1F.5 km
You can find the final location at N55° 54.ABC W003° 23.DEF
Please watch out for the barbed wire that is close by.
