Parking in Central Milton Keynes is quite complex with a number of
differing tarrifs and keen Parking Wardens. However currently
(February 2005) it is possible to park for free in the Food Centre
car park and adjacent on-street parking for 2 hours maximum in any
one day. The entrance to the car park is at
N52° 02.580 W00°
45.030. Parking attendants do
monitor this so if you intend staying to look round the shops you
need to find alternative parking. As some of the clues are in the
Shopping building this cache is only available when the shops are
open.
Start at
N52° 02.620
W000° 45.558. There is a sculpture
here called ‘The Whisper’ How many people can you count in the
scene? = A .
Next
go to N52° 02.588
W000° 45.411. In
front of you is another sculpture of a family group. How many legs
can you count as part of this family grouping? =
xy B=x+x+y.
There is a Mosaic mounted on the wall about 15m away which was
found at Bancroft Villa ( the site of a near by cache

The Queen has been and walked where you are standing now and as a
result this area was renamed. When was the Queen here

Now you have all the answers so on to the

It can be difficult for people who are not familiar with the
area to gain pedestrian access to Campbell Park so I would suggest
you walk east down either of the adjacent Arcades. When you leave
the arcade go to N52° 02.EDC
W000° 44.G0F and cross into Campbell Park. Please watch
your footing in this meadow as you may find sheep droppings round
here and close all gates so that the sheep may safely graze.
Campbell Park was named after Lord “Jock“ Campbell who was the
chairman of Milton Keynes Development Corporation throughout the
70’s and early 80’s. This is the nearest to the traditional formal
garden style park in Milton Keynes. I know of no other town where
sheep graze this close to the centre.
After you cross the bridge look for the cache which can be found
in a copse at
N52° 02.BAC W000° 44.CB1
The cache is hidden low down in one of the trees in the copse.
There is no need to battle through the shrubs to reach the cache,
There is only one footpath which gives access to the cache, it is
an ill defined path approaching from the west and it peters out
just east of the cache and it runs parallel to a more clearly
defined path.
Good luck and happy geocaching Zensunni
