This cache is a tribute cache in honor of tomatoes1999 finding 1,000 caches. As Elm Creek Regional Park is one of this couple's favorite parks, there was only one park considered for a spot. Come and enjoy the miles of trails in this beautiful park. Thank you, Nancy and Duane, for all of the volunteer hours that you have given to this park (and others) over the years.
Although this is a tribute cache, the tradition of hiding a silver ammo can didn't quite work in this spot as that would have made it really too exposed. But the ammo can still has some silver spray paint.
Tomatoes1999, congratulations on your 1,000 finds - way to go! May you have many, many more! And thank you for the fun caching times together and I look forward to having more of them with you in the future. Thanks for being such good friends and caching buddies!
