Geocache Description:

Easy 2 stage cache, in a scenic rural area.

This cache is dedicated to one of Irelands most popular television programmes. Killinaskully is a mythical, rural Irish village full of eccentric characters. This cache brings you to all the main locations used in the series. You can even have a drink in Jacksies bar.

The above co-ordinates bring you to the small village of Ballinahinch. This is in north Tipperary, just off the N7 near Birdhill. (A good road map would be useful).
The church, the pub and the school will all be familiar to Killinaskully fans. Add 3 to the year the school was built. Subtract this from the year the parish centre was opened. This will give you a two digit number AB. You will need this later.
Now head east for about 6 km in the direction of the Silvermines. At Shallee crossroads turn right towards Newport. About 3 km up this road there is a left turn signposted for 'Ryans Thatched Pub'. Follow this sign into Killoscully ( N 52 46.121 W 008 19.622).
The pubs interior is used for 'Jacksies Bar'. Even if you are not a fan enjoy one of Irelands nicest country pubs. The pub is only open evenings and weekends.

Now subtract the year the church was built from the year the community centre opened. Add 262 to give a 3 digit number CDE.
The cache is at N 52 46.0AB W 008 19.CDE. There is an old mass path at the back of the church which will lead you to the cache. There is no need to cross any fences or enter any fields. The path may be a bit muddy at times. Enjoy the views of Keeper Hill, which is right in front of you as you approach the cache. At 694 m (2,100 ft)it is the highest mountain in the area and worth a climb in good weather.
The cache is a small tablock box.
Original contents: notebook, pencil, sharpener and some balloons.
