Halleluiah! We made it back from W Tree Rock Scramble in one piece!
We decided that the east/west route to that cache would be a better approach then the recommended north/south. Wrong! Dropped this cache in celebration of surviving our little cross country adventure.
Word of caution...
- A long climb up to the cache area
- A bit of off trail hiking
- Finding a way through the poison oak
- Ticks in the grass
- Snakes in the grass and rocks
This cache has all of the above. Be forewarned and just pass it by if any of the above bothers you. If you choose to accept the challenge, enjoy! The view is nice. And that nasty W Tree cache is just a short walk away...if you dare!
