Our first get together was such a big success we figured since its been eight months and many new geocachers later that it was time for another!
There is free parking on Saturday at N45 25.358 and W75 41.723. This location is right behind the pub.
OK Geocaching addicts here's the plan:
1. Between now and November 14th hide a cache in the Ottawa area.
2. Do not post it on this site until the 14th.
3. All geocachers who wish to participate should enter the coordinates of the hidden caches for this event on their GPS and then head out to find as many as they can on the 15th, originally we planned this event for Saturday only but since there are so many caches we will start with a night raid anytime after 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
4. At 6:00 p.m. on the 16th after a LONG day of caching, we wil meet at the above coordinates for snacks, and a pint or two. Please note that although the meeting venue is a pub, it is very child friendly.
5. We have added a twist to this event. We will assign a number to the first several groups to state that they are coming, that number will be placed in your cache and when the numbers that will be placed in all the assigned caches are put together they will form the coordinates for our cache. Tick and I will buy a drink for everyone who finds our cache as long as they are at the pub by 6:00 p.m..
