Geocache Description:

2nd in a series of 4 caches to commemorate the Queens Diamond Jubilee. Situated within the Borough of Broxtowe, all 4 caches are located on designated Queen Elizabeth II Fields. (Please replace the cache on the iron part of the sculpture and not the aluminium part)

Broadgate Park, Beeston

This small park is situated in the centre of Beeston off High Road. It has an attractive open frontage that takes the park directly out into the street scene. With a circular performance area at the entrance and eye catching sculptures, the park has a modern, contemporary feel. The bowling green and children’s play area are very popular as is the small multi-use games area. A network of surfaced footpaths provide safe level access around the site for all visitors. The park also has full wheelchair access with the toilets being part of the RADAR key scheme. The centre point of the park is the statue of Hope, the Boer War memorial.
