Situated in Glen Dhoo, a nice easy cache only 1.5km walk from the carpark.
Glen Dhoo near Ballaugh leads to a lovely valley with a few ruins. This is one of my favorite places on the island.
Start from the carpark at N54 17.753 W004 32.012. Walk back down the road you came up and take the 1st track on the left which starts at N54 17.765 W004 32.066
Follow the greenlane into the nature reserve, and when the 1st ruin is on your right, cross the river on the slate bridge, but be carefull, it can be slippery. Keep following on this side of the river till you exit the nature reserve, and you'll see more ruins ahead, this is the cache area. The path can be quite muddy after rainfall, so you'll need appropriate footwear.
The cache is a water bottle, and contains a log and a couple of small items. Please rehide cache well as it is bright blue and stands out. Happy hunting!
