Baw Beese Summer Fun!!! My first event, Better come out swinging!
This will be a most of the day event. Time frame listed below. I have confirmation of other cachers assisting myself with some hides for the event. My rough guess would be 30+ new caches!!!!! Anyone that wants in, send me a message. I am sure we will have quite the morning filled and a few FTF teams will be created. There will be driving park&grab caches as well as some Trail caches. Pick your style. The main focus will be filling the Baw Beese Trail from Hillsdale to Osseo. CITO will be recommended while caching the trails and bags will be provided. IF allowed there will be a CITO Event from 10:00am-Noon to accommodate our caching adventures on the Baw Beese Trail. **************************************************************************************************** ***********9:00-10:00am - (Logbook Open) Meet and Greet* ***********10:00am - (Log Book Closes) while we go after newly published Geocaches* ***********1:00pm - (Logbook Re Opens) Meet back up at original starting point* ***********2:00pm - Lunch. Including grilled hot dogs, mac n cheese, salad, potato salad, fruit, chips, water and soda. Please bring a dessert dish, snack or finger food item to add to the menu. Tableware will be provided. Plates and such* ***********3:20pm - (Approx.) Event Picture* ***********3:30pm - Name raffle/drawing and disc golf winners* ***********4:00pm - Logbook Closes********************************************************************************************** - - - - 3 hole disc golf tournament with custom made score cards. No solo runs. You will need another cacher witness. Discs available to borrow. Course can be completed anytime Logbook is open. Children can complete course as well. Turn in scores by 3:15pm. We will try to acquire a pavilion near ground zero. Picnic tables may be limited, Bring a lawn chair!! Just in case. Kids are most definetely welcome and Swag Bags to all who attend! Playground within viewing distance of pavilion. Perfect!! PLEASE RSVP ("Will Attend") Please include how many adults and how many kids. This isn't required but will help in some estimates: Food, gifts, prizes, etc. This place is loaded with entertainment! Come for a quick meet and greet. Stay the duration. Stay afterwards and enjoy the Recreation Area. The Beach is open but will require a fee to swim. Let's have some summer fun!!! See you soon!
