The Ridiculous Green Helm

Once worn by the order of The Knights who say "Eh?", in the dark ages, the Green Helm was a much sought after talisman of great power! It bestows upon the wearer an appearance of great silliness! This is the last remaining helm to survive and is said to be guarded by a mighty beast! The diminutive white RAT!. Do not be fooled by the guardian's size or appearance, those who have done so in the past have not lived to tell the tale (it tends to attack the ankles)!

The Helm can be found at the posted coordinates on the west side of Green's Creek a short bushwhack from the trails. You do not have to cross the creek if you make use of the parking lot at N 45°28.004 W 075°34.900. If you manage to defeat the cache guardian be sure to leave him in place so he may continue to guard the Helm!

The cache swag is in a plastic container fixed in the roof of the helm. It is held in place by velcro straps and can be removed.

Remember that nice little white bunny in 'Monty Python and the Holy Grail'? Be careful!
The helm lies somewhere in this tree...

The family headed out today to grab a few caches and this one was the first on our list. Always nice to find a cache that's been there for a while. Parked in lot #8 and began our little hike on snow shoes to GZ. The boys made the find in the obvious place as they remembered the photos from the cache description. A nice adventure. TFTC!

A great trail and location for a cache. I figure Signal TB would approve and dropped it in the cache. Was surprised to see a couple of other folks off trail on the way out, though they were cachers but they were more likely birders. TFTH.

Pokaroo, Sadie (the Pokaroo geo-pup) and I cooperated in finding this one. Wonderful day for a walk in an area that I'd not explored before. Things were certainly different 'back in the old days' when this cache was released to the unsuspecting world. TNLN SL Thanks --nosense--
