Liels koka konstrukcijas tilts pari Rivas upei ir diezgan unikala
paradiba Latvija. Te kadreiz gaja pari vecais Liepaja-Ventspils
dzelzcelš. Buvets 20. gadsimta pirmaja puse. (Rekonstruets un
atklats 2002. gada 25. maija)
Eiropa koka atgažnu sistemas tilti ir bijuši zinami jau
viduslaikos. Musdienas, pastavot stingrajiem Eiropas standartiem,
koka tilti inženiertehniska skatijuma savu nozimi ir zaudejuši.

darbinašanai. Esošais kratuves udenskritums, ainaviska Rivas upes
ieleja un vesturiskais Rivas upes tilts - šis dabas un
kulturvesturiskais apskates objekts lieliski ieklaujas pagasta un
Kurzemes regiona turisma maršrutos.
Ludzu, esiet uzmanigi un piesardzigi. Uzmanieties no apkart
esošajiem cilvekiem un seviški no kafejnicas apmekletajiem. Tumsa

Large wooden bridge across the river Riva is a fairly unique
phenomenon in Latvia. Here once drove across the old
Liepaja-Ventspils railway. Built in 20th the first half of the
century. (Restored and opened on the 25th of may 2002.)
In Europe, wooden bridges with brace system has been known in the
Middle Ages. There are strict European standarts for this reason
road and building exsperts say that the wooden bridges have lost
their significance nowadays However, road and bridge building
exsperts admit, that chronicled hundreds of years of tradition
should be preserved in memory as carpentry and engineering skills
of proof. The bridge and its surroundings is also evidenced by the
historical and cultural significance and it has been newly assigned
in cultural monument status. In Latvia this is one of the rare,
maybe the only wooden bridge with brace system design, it is in
easily found and freely accessible area.
From the top side of the river had been made a dam and it`s energy
used at the beginning of the century for the mills and woolen card
operation. The waterfall of the storage lake, the beautiful valley
of Riva river and the historic Rivas river bridge - this natural
and cultural sightseeing object perfectly includes with the parish
and the region of Kurzeme tourism routes.
Please be careful and watch out from muggles. Be careful with
flashlight in the darkness because others maight have an interest

There is a tool nearby the cache. With this tool You can open the
container. Pay attention to the tool and the container mechanism
and use them deliberately.
Don`t put many trading items into the conainer because it might
demage the closing mechanism of the container.
