Geocache Description:

Welcome to Liver Hell, the Fourth Liver Cache in the Liver Fiesta Dodecathon!

================================================

Team KKW thanks the Fairfax County Park Authority for permission to place this fourth Fiesta Liver Cache
in this * a h e m * very nice location.

To find this fourth Fiesta Liver Cache, you will need to solve the following Killer Samurai Sudoku:

The rules for Killer Samurai Sudoku are as follows:

1. Within each small 3 x 3 grid all the numbers from 1 – 9 must be used once only.
2. In each row and column of the 9 x 9 grid all of the numbers from 1 – 9 must be used once only.
3. Within each of the colored blocks is a small number. This denotes the total value of the squares within that block. For example, if a colored block comprising 3 squares totals 7, then the individual squares must be 1, 2, and 4, but it is left to the solver to ascertain in which order they must be placed.
4. Within each colored block, a number may be repeated, although this is rare.
5. Each 3 x 3 grid must total 45, as must every row and column.
6. In a "killer samurai" puzzle there are 4 instances in which 3 x 3 grids belong to two different 9 x 9 grids. In this situation, the same rules of sudoku apply; i.e., the numbers 1 – 9 must be used once only. It stands to reason that these 4 grids can hold the key to solving the entire puzzle.

This cache gets its name from the hike you will have to take to get to this cache. Although it is only a short distance, it is treacherous. A very rough travel and many hidden dangers are waiting... FOR YOU!!!! When we hid the cache, we picked up a few wild marauding ticks and were nicked by killer thorns.

If you want to find this cache the easy way, you’ll wait for winter and have a nice, easy hike after all of the thorns die. True Liver Cachers, however, will wait for Spring, Summer, or Fall, when the thorns are poised to kill.

Liver Hell contains a clue for the location of End of Liver.

BY THE WAY, PLEASE DO NOT POST A PICTURE OF THE CACHE CONTAINER IN YOUR LOG ENTRY. THANKS!!! >
