This spot marks the entrance to one of our favorite Friday night activities. In spring, summer, and fall the gate is opened for visits to the Drake Municipal Observatory. Lectures begin at 8:00 PM. Sky viewing begins at dark, if the weather is clear. It is free and open to the public. What more could you want from a Friday night? Check out the link for the schedule.
