Geocache Description:

A Circular walk around the Giants causeway

The Giants causeway is an amazing natural rock formation of basalt pillars stretching into the sea. It is a World Heritage Site and you can find out lots about it here.

Take the high-level path from the visitors centre. Please heed the warnings about keeping children and dogs away from cliff edge.

Cache is hidden on the landward side of the cliff so there is no need to go too close to the edge.

Once you have found the cache carry on in the same direction then down shepherds steps to the organ and then back to the Giants Causeway.

Take your time to wander round this unique piece of geology then you can either, get the the bus or walk back to the visitors centre.
Note:Car parking on the site is £5 which goes towards the National Trust.

Please check out the Geocaching Ireland Yahoo group.
