This journey takes you to a multi-cache near Rainbow Reservoir
where I, Miles Stone, had a bizarre and frightful encounter over a
year ago.
Looking for a new cache placement, I was exploring the area early
one morning. I caught a glimpse of something seemingly out of place
and approached to investigate. Much to my surprise there was a
freshly dug grave with gloves and a shovel lying in the bottom!
Adrenaline now pumping through my veins, a large man appeared from
behind a tree. In a Southern drawl, he said he was burrin' a dog
and wanted to know if I had a problem with it.
No corpse in sight, I backed away; got back to the car and
hightailed it out of there. I later contacted the police with his
license plate information. Returning, it looked like a scene from
the movies as detectives were scouring the area. I later found out
the guy was able to produce a vet bill indicating he did have a dog
put to sleep.

This is a good area to launch a boat and do some fishing. The area
is open from sunrise to sunset. The final cache is a large ammo
