How Geocaching Works
Don’t do this cache. It has no beautiful views. It isn’t a nice hike, and it’s not the least bit challenging. In fact it’s just a lame light post cache. The idea for this cache is not even my own. Even the text is blatantly stolen from several similar ones. Taking the following quiz may help to put your relationship to Geocaching in perspective. If you end up answering “yes” to one or more questions, you may want to take a good look how your life is affected by Geocaching.
1. Do you check Geocaching.com more than once a day ? 2. You give out coordinates instead of map directions to a particular location ( like your home). 3. Do you own more than one GPS ? 4. Is your dog trackable ? 5. Have you ever thought of naming your next child Garmin ? 6. Have you been influential in bringing more than 3 people into Geocaching, who are also now addicted ? If you are a recovering cache-a-holic, and can resist the temptation, please log as a DNF and share your success story. You will need to bring your own pen to sign the log. Just in case there is a new cacher out there - there is a little something for the FTF.
