Geocache Description:

The trees will be greening up, and so will a lot of the grass. The heaviest of pollen should be gone, and there's a possibility of a bit of coolness in the air, so it seems like a perfect time to go camping!!

This event will be on 04/16/2016 from 2:00pm until 3:30pm. This is simply a no-frills gathering, as we're planning on relaxing and sitting around sharing geocaching stories, so please bring your lawn chairs. There's a playground nearby and a couple of piers that you can fish from. Plenty of parking is also available. "L" and I will be camping at this State Park beginning on the evening of Friday, 04/15/2016 until Sunday, 04/17/2016. At the time we submitted this event, there were approximately 57 campsites remaining available in the park, so if you want to camp too please visit the park's website and reserve a spot (additional camping fees apply).

NOTE: There is a $3 entrance fee per person 13 and older (12 and under get in free). There is no per person fee if you have a current Texas State Park pass.
