Geocache Description:

This cache is placed in the spirit of lighthearted silliness. It is payback for the NRV caches I have done over my 18-month caching carrer. NRV you say? NRV I say. Caches with – No Redeeming Value.

Have you ever finished signing a logbook only to ask yourself, “Why am I here?”
- was it a great walk?
- is there an incredible view?
- is it just part of a puzzle to get to the great finale?
- is there some history to be learned?
- is it a unique or novel hide?
- did I have to think in order to find it?
- is the cammo particularly great?
- is there a joke involved?

- OR – was it just another notch on the old belt? Another bus stop? Another electrical box? Another railing? Another fence post? You get the idea.

Yes, this cache is dedicated to all of those NRV hides. Have I placed some myself? Absolutely – this is one of them.

I just may start an NRV series. Time will tell.

>>> OK, now the question rears its ugly head. Is there such a thing as an NRV cache? I think that may depend on a person’s perspective at the given time. I remember a simple bus stop cache in the middle of nowhere that was the first cache I found on my own after a serious injury - it was an incredibly exciting find for me.
- Those of you who know me, may know that for the only three caches I truly had a concern, I worked with the cache owner to correct the situation.
- Those of you who read my logs know that I invariably find positives about each and every cache.
- Those of you who know me, know that I hungrily go and find any nearby cache and gladly log it no matter when, where or how.
- Those of you who know me, will also know that I would never want to do anything to offend fellow cachers. I may tease, I may jest, but it is all in the spirit of fun. SO – if this cache bothers you, help me find a way to correct the situation. If we can’t find a solution, I’ll archive the cache.

>>> Finally, remember this: angels can fly because they take themselves lightly.

Your mission, should you accept it, is to do one of the following:
1.) share an experience about a memorable NRV cache you have done
2.) find some redeeming value about this cache
3.) confess to an NRV cache you have hidden
4.) give your soap-box opinion on NRV caches
