Geocache Description:

A social gathering to say hello to the better weather!

VENUE :- The Lord Raglan, NangreavesDATE :- Sunday 18th April 2004TIME :- 12.30pm onwardsAnother chance to have a natter and swop the odd travel bug over a pint or two.The Lord Raglan is a large rural pub situated on a hill north of Manchester. The Rag is one of only a handful of pubs which sells 'homemade' beer as well as 'homemade' steak pie - the award winning Leyden micro-brewery is located right beneath the pub!Food is served all day on a Sunday and if the weather is permitting we will be able to sit outside and admire the views.Don't start talking to the landlord (Mr Laconic) or the barmaid (Miss Morose) though - you might never get away!!There is one cache on the hill near the pub (Forever Bury! GCGGFP) and a few in the surrounding area so you can do a bit of caching on the day if you wish.New cachers are especially welcome. To find us just look out for GPS units on the table - although aco-ordination of geocachers is hard to miss in a pub!
