This is a nice little park in Uptown Charlotte. Its quite busy during the lunchtime hours. There are a few benches scattered throughout and a nice fountain. Be sure to check out all the paths to hear the various sounds. The container is a standard geocaching.com micro container. Its only big enough for a log and you will need to bring your own pen or pencil. You will NOT have to remove the canister to sign. Just turn the bottom counter clockwise to remove the log. When replacing the log, roll up insert it into the bottom, then insert it into the canister and tighten up. The coordinates will be "iffy". There is a lot of interference from the buildings so it may be tough to get a good reading. Have fun!!!! After several recent DNF's and some comments and questions regarding this cache, here is some information. The cache container is a little larger than a standard bison tube and it was purchased from Geocaching.com. It is black and has the official GC logo on it. It is not a sprinkler head or camo'ed in any way. Remember the coords are iffy once you get to the general area because of the tall buildings on each side. Be prepared to expand your search. IMPORTANT: Nothing has to be taken apart or otherwise damaged to find this cache. It is a standard container that is placed in a rather obvious place just out of sight.

I had to grab a couple of caches before leaving town after my conference ended. What an awesome park! I wish I had been able to spend more time looking at everything. TFTC

Cute little park. Very quiet on a Sunday morning. Nice diversion before a seminar at the convention center. TFTC.

Great park in Uptown Charlotte. Downfall is the park is busy (probably on most nice days). Not too difficult, though.
