At Moro Bay State Park you must travel off the beaten path but not by far. You will need to cross a field and enter a bottomland hardwood forest on the flat terrain of the Gulf Coastal Plain. Its not that far from a paved park road but far enough as to not be seen.
North across a well kept field on the way to the campground you must travel. Only 60 yds into the woods from a bluebird house on the edge of the field. At first you will cross a thin section of pine until you find yourself in a beautiful hardwood bottom. Once you are close look for a large water oak. The ammo box lies only a short 20 feet or so due west from the tree. Permit Number = PT34001
