Geocache Description:

This cache is located near the top of Comb Ridge. Hike is about 1/2 miles and will take about 30-45 minutes to get there. Elevation gain is about 400 feet.

You must approach this cache from the east side of the ridge. It is inaccessable from the west side. Park in the gravel pull-out on the side of the road. There is no real trail but the top is easily seen. Just hike up over the slick rock following your GPS. The cache is near the top located in a large rock formation. It should be easy to spot once you are in the area. The cache is clearly marked "Comb Ridge Geocache". The elevation at the cache is 5729 feet.The hike is well worth the time as the views at the top are incredible. You can easily see into Colorado and Arizona. Please take plenty of water as this area can get quite hot.Some of the contents of the cache include:Log book, pen, pencil, lighter, 2 AA batteries, 2 fishing flies, Sting cassette tape, kids A&W mug.
