Denmark Street is where many famous rock and pop bands cut their teeth such as Elton John, Jimi Hendrix and The Sex Pistol and more recently The Darkness. This street is also described as the British Tin Pan Alley after a New York town where a number of music publishers and songwriters set up shop in the same district of Manhattan.
Have a careful look around the area to find where new band members are recruited and signed up. I’m looking for anyone from maracas players to managers, backing vocals to lead vocals.
You’ll need to bring a pen to sign up, however do note that the gate shuts late at night, but it is not always locked. Wheelchair users can get to the cache location and at the present moment it is easy to reach.
