This park on Kelly Road features a large community built playground called KidTowne. Plaques are displayed at the entrance for the heroes that helped build it.
The cache is only about 100’ from the parking lot and is family friendly. It should be a relatively easy find, but there are many ways to the cache, some much steeper than others. I’d recommend finding an easy descent to an access road type trail that will lead you close to the cache.
The cache only has room for a few small trades. Please bring your own pen. The cache was initially filled with some small lizards. Thanks to the horsegeeks for this cache container that we got from one of their Geocacher’s Dream sites.
This Town of Apex park also includes a basketball hoop, baseball field, tennis courts and pavilion. Have fun.
