Geocache Description:

SLO: Cicelj se dviga vec kot 500 m visoko nad vasmi v dolini Save. EN: Cicelj raises more than 500 m above the villages in Sava valley.

Slovensko: Cicelj je z 819 metri nadmorske visine najvisji izmed verige treh vrhov nad vasjo Senozeti, a je vseeno najmanj obiskan. Verjetno k temu pripomore neizrazit vrh v obliki grebena, ki je porascen z gozdom in ne nudi dobrega razgleda. Oznacen vrh Ciclja in mesto zaklada nista na najvisji tocki grebena (825 m n.m.v.).

Kljub vsemu pa si tudi Cicelj zasluzi svoj zaklad, ce ne zaradi drugega, je na poti med drugima vrhovoma - Miklavzem in Murovico, ki tudi oba skrivata svoj zaklad.

Na Cicelj je moznih vec vzponov. Ce ste navdusen gorski kolesar, so nekatere primerne tudi za kolo, a dolocenih delckov poti se vseeno ne da prevoziti.

Senozeti, parkirisce pri igriscih (Waypoint P1 SNZTI). Pot nadaljujte po asfaltni cesti cez mosticek, levo in nato desno proti Veliki vasi. Kmalu lahko opazite markirano pespot, ki ji sledite. (1 h 30 min, TR: 3)
Od cerkve v Krizevski vasi (Waypoint P2 KRVAS) se odpravite severozahodno po makadamski poti. Ko dosezete vrh pri kapelici, nadaljujte desno po poti v gozd. (40 min, primerno za gorsko kolo, TR: 2,5)
Od cerkve v Krizevski vasi (Waypoint P2 KRVAS) se odpravite vzhodno, mimo his in nato preko travnika v gozd. (35 min, TR: 3)
Lahko uberete najkrajso in najbolj strmo "Lovsko pot". Parkirajte pri (Waypoint P3 LOVSKA) in zagrizite strmino preko travnika. (30 min, TR: 3,25)
Iz vasi Katarija (Waypoint P4 KTRJA) se odpravite po strmem kolovozu in obiscite tudi skakalnice. (30 min, primerno za gorsko kolo, TR: 2,5)
Dostop je mozen tudi s severne strani iz vasi Tustanj. (Waypoint P5 ZGTST)

Za navdusene geocacherje, ki imate namen obiskati vse tri vrhove (Miklavz, Cicelj, Murovica) in najti tri zaklade (GC21F1E, GC21F1D, GC21F16) v enem dnevu, priporocam naslednjo pot. Parkirajte pri cerkvi v Krizevski vasi (Waypoint 2). Po asfaltni cesti okoli cerkve se odpravite vzhodno do Velike vasi. V Veliki vasi pojdite levo mimo gasilskega doma in po 50 metrih zavijte levo na markirano pot v gozd proti Miklavzu. Na vrhu Miklavza se skriva prvi zaklad. Z Miklavza pojdite na Cicelj, lahko po grebenu (levo), lahko skozi vas in mimo skakalnic. Do vrha Ciclja nadaljujte zahodno in ne zapuscajte poti blizu vrha grebena. Na Ciclju poiscite zaklad in se vpisite v pohodnisko knjigo. Nadaljujte po poti po grebenu, ki vas bo pripeljala do kapelice in makadamske ceste. Po 50 metrih sledite markirani poti levo v gozd, ki vodi do zadnjega zaklada in na vrh Murovice. Ko boste nasli zaklad, se vrnite nazaj do makadamske ceste in se spustite desno v Krizevsko vas, kjer vas caka avto.
Z malo spremembami je ta krog skoraj v celoti prevozen tudi z gorskim kolesom. Opis daljse poti najdete tukaj, zemljevid pa tukaj.

English: Cicelj (819 m ASL) is the highest hilltop in the range of three tops above the Senozeti village, but it has the least visitors. The reason for that is probably the indistinct ridgelike top, which is grown with forest and therefore doesn't offer great views. Marked top of Cicelj and the cache are not at the highest point of the ridge. (825 m ASL).

Despite all that, Cicelj deserves its own cache. If for nothing else, it halves the path between the other two tops - Miklavz and Murovica, which both hide their own cache.

Many paths lead to Cicelj. If you are an enthusiastic mountainbiker, you can easily try some of them, although some parts are more demanding.

Senozeti, parking by the playgrounds (Waypoint P1 SNZTI). Continue on asphalt road over the bridge, left and then right towards "Velika vas". Soon you will spot the markations for pathway leading to Miklavz and Cicelj. (1 h 30 min, TR: 3)
From church in Krizevska vas (Waypoint P2 KRVAS) head on northwest on unpaved road. When you reach the top by the small chapel, continue right following the path through the forest. (40 min, suitable for mountain bike, TR: 2,5)
From church in Krizevska vas (Waypoint P2 KRVAS) head east, among the houses and then across the meadow into the forest. (35 min, TR: 3)
You can take the shortest and the most steep "Hunter's trail" (Lovska pot). Park by (Waypoint P3 LOVSKA) and take the steep slope across the meadow. (30 min, TR: 3.25)
From village Katarija (Waypoint P4 KTRJA) head on the trail and visit ski jumps. (30 min, suitable for mountain bike, TR: 2,5)
Access is also possible from the north side, from village Tustanj. (Waypoint P5 ZGTST)

For enthusiastic geocachers, who want to visit all three hilltops (Miklavz, Cicelj, Murovica) and find all three geocaches (GC21F1E, GC21F1D, GC21F16) in one day, I recommend the following way. Leave your car by the church in Krizevska vas (Waypoint 2). Take the paved road east towards Velika vas. In Velika vas turn left, pass by the fire station and after 50 meters turn left onto marked path towards Miklavz. On the Miklavz top, the first cache is hidden. Leave Miklavz and go towards Cicelj, either over the ridge (left) or through the village and passing the ski jumps. Continue west and do not leave the path over the ridge, until you reach the marked top. Find the cache :) Continue west on the ridge, and you should reach the small chapel and the unpaved road. Leave the unpaved road after 50 m, turn left into the forest and follow the marked path, which will lead you to the cache and to the top of Murovica. After you have found the cache, return back to the unpaved road, and descent right to the Krizevska vas, where you left your car.
With some changes, this circle is suitable for mountain bike. The description of the path, can be found here (in Slovenian) and the map here. The main difference: When you reach Velika vas, ride straight through. 100 m after you have left the Velika vas, turn left towards the house and pass it by. Continue the ride on ascenting trail transcendent to the slope. When you reach a paved road, turn left and continue towards the church on the Miklavz.
