We haven't seen any rusted out geocachers, and only an occasional worn-out geocacher. But whether worn out, rusted out or fresh off the manufacturing line, we hope you will join us for this special event!

It's a summertime event to gather everyone together for fun and games but with an additional benefit. The Lily Pond is rolling out a new trackable program with Airstream (the ubiquitous Silver Bullet camping trailers, aka Silver Burrito, Silver Twinkie, Canned Ham, Toaster-on-Wheels, Alumiwagon, Rancho Wandero, Bauxite Box, Tin Toaster, Towable Titanium, and The WunderTwinkie), and they have some Airstream trackables that they would like to distribute to the community so they can circulate. Free trackables! They will be unactivated so whoever gets one will own it. We are one of only a few states that are being offered this opportunity. So come to the event, have some fun, maybe even drink a few Silver Bullets, and, hopefully, leave with a free Silver Twinkie trackable!!

  • Date: August 9, 2014
  • Time: 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
  • Location: Fiesta Island -- coords are approximate -- look for us at or near a fire ring
  • Things to Bring: Food, drinks, bathing suits, frisbees, lawn darts, sunscreen, sunglasses, towels, umbrellas, wood, weenies, s'mores, more s'mores, lemonade, PUD cake, powerboats, sailboats, kayaks, canoes, paddleboards, masks, snorkels and fins, appetites, chairs, tables, Towable Titanium camping trailer, unsubstantiated tales of geocaching prowess, WD-40 (if it doesn't move but should), duct tape and bubble gum (if it moves but shouldn't), a round American woman who can cook rabbits, a pickup truck, a recreational vehicle (Alumiwagon, preferably), puzzle problems, etc., etc., etc.
