Sigh-toe, Sea-Tow, Chai-To, Kah-Tao - no matter how you pronounce it, CITO (Cache In Trash Out) should be a part of every geocacher’s vocabulary. What’s it mean? It’s simple - whenever you’re out geocaching, clean up the area around you. It keeps the geocaching game board clean and shows land managers that geocachers care. Come do your part and earn a souvenir!
CITO check-in will start at 9:00am.
Our area of responsibility is along the southern bank of the Trinity River, from roughly the western-most edge of the main parking area for the Panther Island Pavilion to Nutt Lake on the east. See the map!
All participants will be asked to sign in and provide a emergency contact number.
After everyone has checked in, it will be time for a quick announcement with the rules of the CITO.
We will be working in a widely-varied environment. Expect trees, thorns, possible PI, snakes and many other natural obstacles.
