Geocache Description:

This series, FWP or Famous Wisconsin People, will acknowledge the accomplishments of some well-known (and maybe not so well-known) individuals from our state.

Kristen Johnston is an actress best known for her portrayal of Sally Solomon in the sitcom Third Rock from the Sun. She won two Emmy Awards for Best Supporting Actress in a comedy series for her work on Third Rock. She was born in Washington, D.C., but was raised in Whitefish Bay where she attended St. Eugene’s Catholic Grade School and Whitefish Bay High School. She received her B.F.A. degree in Drama from New York University.

Johnston has appeared in a dozen films, ten stage productions and nine TV shows during her career. She is currently starring as Holly Brooks in the comedy series The Exes which airs on TV Land. In 2012 she released her memoir, a comedic and tragic look at addiction and recovery, entitled Guts: The Endless Follies and Tiny Triumphs of a Giant Disaster.
