After walking all long the island (I started at the south part), and read the coords. from a piece of paper (Computers en copacabana haven't a SD lector), I found it and together a great view of the Titikaka Lake. I could not register my visit in the notebook, the pencil didn't work and I didn't have one with me.

Great place, Greate cache.

Thancks a lot.

Original Log at 29 Sept 2009

We found this cache on our trip trough Peru and a little bit of Bolivia.
On isla del sol we were a little bit unlucky, because it was raining during our time there.

Greetings from Germany

Sry for logging so late... On our visit Kletterphilipp and I climbed this "mountain" to see the evening sunset and the Cordillera over the other side of the lake it was breathtaking! and rather chilly... we were unlucky with the weather...hail and rain not very much sol..
be sure to buy a return ticket in Copacabana, the price doubbels if you want to get back from the Island (it doesn't matter from which end!)
There is a path from the North End to the South, that leads along the Coastline, a very very nice and less frequented path (well except for the locals) so if you have time why not walk back to the south end in the afternoon it's well worth it!
