Find the cache and enter your find - all in the same word - but

On the Upper Big Sycamore Canyon Loop from Newbury Park. About 4
miles RT, 400' gain and loss. This beautiful canyon always has
something of interest - flowers, birds, rough skinned newts, water,
views. June Bonus: spectacular Humboldt Lilies (6' tall!). Suggest
going down the paved road, turn left at the 1 outhouse and hiking
up the canyon. Take a trail map if you're not familiar with the
area- junctions are not well signed. You will first travel through
NPS land but the cache is on State Park land, along the canyon
trail, not on the paved road. If you haven't done "So Near Yet So
Far" cache, do the loop in reverse. You'll also go by "Shandi's
Cache". No dogs or bikes and older kids would enjoy the hike.

The Geo_Connections Sic Them Sycamores tour continues, with another FTF in 2010. The others had done this cache, so retrofit and I headed out on our own. Pretty quick, even without a hint - the cache name is a help. Found at 10:10 a.m.

One of many finds during an all-day hike. There were a lot of muggles on the main paved trail today. Once I moved onto this trail, I passed only one person until I reached the Danialson fire road. Made it easy to search for the caches. Nice hide. TFTC!
