Cache Logs

November 18 by dsms99 (629 found) Nice little nighttime hike. Found after searching for a bit as the coords seemed to be off. Perfect hiding spot for a cache. [view this log]

August 28 by Cache Sleuth (1040 found) I wanted to look for more than one cache in Chief Logan today, but it was getting late and this is the only one I had the chance to go for. The coordinates were off somewhat and I looked around for a bit in the wrong places. A couple and their child came up the trail, so the cache dog and I stepped to the side to let them pass. While standing there, I looked around and spotted a place that I thought would make a neat place to hide a cache, reached in, and there it was! Thank goodness it was the cache and not something else! Took the Liberty travel bug. Left 2 foreign coins. Signed log. Thanks for the hunt and a successful end to my caching day! [view this log]

July 7 by PilotJ (1259 found) Wish Mom had come along on this caching event, but she is probably glad she didn't. It was a LONG day hiking UP and UP and UP in Chief Logan SP. Do we do any down? Glad to have Hunter with us to serve as tour guide and keep up on the shortest path, especially since he didn't earn a single, solitary smiley. Nice hide and the Pilot made a quick grab of it. Although, my GPSr was bouncing around terribly on this one...luckily PilotJ's Garmin was on the money and he made the find before I could get my handheld brains re-adjusted. SL TNLN [view this log]
