The First Annual Lanesboro CITO will be staged from the Lanesboro Community Center.
In conjunction with the Eagle Bluff Environmental Learning Center's Root River Earth Day Fair 2007, we'll be having a CITO Event In Lanesboro Minnesota on Saturday April 28.
This will be a free event that is open to experienced cachers as well as novice geocachers.
We'll meet at the Community Center at 9am. I'm able to upload coordinates to GPS's now with my laptop. If you have a GPS made by someone other than Garmin, please bring your data transfer cable.
In addition to traditional temporary caches, there will also be temporary virtual and temporary locationless caches in the area to be found. Plus, I'll be planting at least three permanent caches. So all of you that love the "FTF"... show up early.
We'll plan on meeting back at the Community Center at 1pm. Many of the sponsors for this Earth Day Fair have been gracious enough to donate items that will be awarded to people/teams who pick up the most trash.
Plan on extending your visit to Historic Lanesboro by participating in the other activities that will be available to everyone. A full list of those activities can be found here :

Gloves, bags, and other necessary equipment will be provided, just bring yourself and a friend, and most importantly, a desire to help clean up Southeastern Minnesota's Root River Area.
