Monhina, Quick_Sticks, and ScrappyDooPup (also know as "Team Drew") will be attending GeoWoodstock XIII (GC54840) towards the end of May near the Washington DC area. We would like to take some trackables with us to leave at the Mega Event so if you have any TB's which you'd like to travel there with us, bring them to Trader's Oaks Park anytime between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM. If you don't have any trackables, you are still invited to attend this event. Please bring your camp chairs or a blanket on which you would like to sit while gathering beneath the wonderful branches of this majestic oak tree. We'll be here to enjoy the company of our fellow cachers so you can come and go as you'd like -- you don't have to get here right at 11:00 to still be able to sign the log and earn your smiley. Kid friendly (there's a nice new playground for the kids just a few feet away from the tree). FYI, there are *25* caches within a mile of this park as well as one WITHIN this same park!
Plaque at tree (now missing): "Henry Clay Daggett & Archibald Franklin Leonard established a trading post on this site in 1849. The first election in Tarrant County was held under this tree in 1850 and Birdville voted the first county seat."
