Hey Folks,
on our way back from Woodstock, Bobby McGee (formerly known as Klipperbusch) and me made a short detour to the math triangle to place our 10th-anniversary-cache. At the Konzen point, we turned off on the direct way to the Lammersdorf point and stopped after a while with the front-wheel of our brand-new Garmin FPower directly on our 10 years old cachebox.
At that time, the Garmin FPower was with a high-precision goniometer at its wheels, its wheelbase of 2.61m, and a wheel radius of 36cm was the latest
innovation for geocaching (see photo below).
Bobby McGee reseted the goniometer, turned the handlebar to the left up to a 27° steer angle, and drove a short distance. When he stopped, there was an angle-difference between the front- and the rear-wheel of 191.3°.
He turned the handlebar back, took a deep breath on his hubble-bubble, and we started a 885m long wild ride to the new cachepoint.
Peace
Elsbeth
PS.: By the way, Bobby sold his Garmin FPower to my girlfriend Janis later on.
