This is a bonus cache for those who actually hike/walk the 4+ mile road to up to Peacock flats.
This is a paved access road that gets very hot; it is best avoided during the mid-day. The last two miles or so are all uphill so unless you’re looking for a good workout, bikes, skates, razors, skateboards or other such items can make this a much easier.
