Geocache Description:

Lawn square surrounded by trees. People can relax while enjoying a wide view and leafy shade.

In April 2004, a disaster prevention park was completed in the Osu district of Ichikawa City. Following the Osu Disaster Prevention Park, this park is currently under construction for opening in April 2010 to provide an urban park with anti-disaster functions in the Gyotoku district as well.

Hours: 9am - 5pm (Closed for year-end and New Years holidays, and during maintenance)

福栄スポーツ広場は、とても広々とした公園です。
公園の下は、千葉県江戸川第二終末処理場、
つまり水道局の下水処理施設です。

その広い面積を活かして、多種多様な植物に囲まれた散策路、
野鳥観察台、遊具などを備えたいこいの広場と、
テニスコート７面、野球場２面といったスポーツ公園が併設されています。

利用時間：午前９時から午後５時まで。
休場日：毎月最終月曜日（振替休日及び祝日の場合は最終前月曜日）、年末年始（１２／２８〜１／４）
