Geocache Description:

Nicknamed "The Edisto Tree" by locals, this marshy "tree" is frequently decorated and redecorated according to the season. The question is, who does all the decorating? No one seems to really know.

This cache is designed to bring attention to one of the eccentricities of Edisto Island.

This is a physical cache and there is a log to sign. The container only holds a log, so please bring a PEN or PENCIL to sign the log. However, in addition to signing the log, you MUST post a picture showing the current decorations. All logs that do not contain a picture (without permission) will be deleted. You can park on the side of Hwy 174, but please be careful when getting out. This is a very busy road.
