in our disclaimer.
Virtual caches seem to me to be perfect for travelers, there's no
need for geo-trinkets and they give you a chance to learn more
about the landscape and history of the world around you. And even
locals can learn more about their homes by visiting sites nearby
they might otherwise rush by.
Near "Cliff's Edge, Maui" for those with less than ideal footwear
for off-road scrambling on lava, this virtual cache is a little
less 'wild.'
Find this spot then e-mail one or more of these three pieces of
information:
1) What's the Hawaiian phrase that headlines a South Maui Heritage
Corridor sign on the east end? - or -
2) What are the location markings on the USGS reference mark disk
at the west end of the lot? - or -
3) What's on the sign in between these two?
As always, don't reveal your answers here in your log, I'll confirm
your response after you email me. If possible, use this link to
send the email. Just remember to replace the # (Or use the Contact
link on my profile, above)
Remember, the reward is in the hunt and in your surroundings.
Note: As with Cliff's Edge, the map may show this to be in the
ocean. Rest assured it is not. I checked it out with the mapping
feature at LostOutdoors.Com and it correctly locates there.
