Chow's first bullet-shaped and hanger cache. We both need to get back into running and this cache is proof of that fact. You'll be down by the river, living in a van and eating government cheese when you find this one. You may be green with envy in trying to find it too. Doubt you'll find any Dori-type fish in this irrigation water but who knows. This cache is named after my girl Dori, who is fairly new to Caching but has enjoyed planting and finding two of them already.
We walk our dogs down this ACID canal road. It's a continuation of Chow's Goathead Trail cache. It too is on the ACID canal but there are no goathead weeds here. Hard to believe there are no caches on this trail? Well now there are 2. If you haven't found the Goathead Trail one and you have kids you are missing out. That one is a huge cache with lots of goodies. Please consider bringing stuff to put in it. This one marks the end of the trail and there is a funky old bridge nearby. There is a gated entrance that is public access but borders on someones entrance to their property. Parking can be had from all the entrances to the trail as it snakes through a few miles of neighborhoods. Bring a camera, some bread for the ducks and mosquito repellent during the season. It's a peaceful walk and borders on a huge swath of undeveloped land
