This cache is located along a popular hiking trail with fairly easy terrain and spectacular views of Lake Superior.
Cache is a 30 cal ammo can with the geocaching logo painted on it.
Thank you to all (so far)who have visited and commented. The cache was maintained on 01Sep02 by upgrading the cache container, and replacing the logbook the cache now contains; Log book, pen and pencil, Sam Goody gift card, mini cyalume lightstick, polarized sunglasses, EMT shears, four function whistle/keychain/compass/thermometer, mini flashlight, "soft" frisbee, and a squeeze ball.
Cache is about 1.8 miles from the Britton Peak trailhead/ parking lot; N 47 35.925' W 90 51.699' or make it a longer hike by starting at Oberg Mountain trailhead.
