Another fine trail in the Black Mountain Open Space. Trails are clearly marked, the trick is finding the right one!
This cache is named for our friend's Great Dane, Peanut, who loved to come up here for walks. So our cache, which is a standard squarish Tupperware, has small dog toys and trinkets for dog lovers. For starters we have some small squeakie toys, a "We'd rather be off-leash" pin, a pawprint bottle opener/keychain, coupons for free greenies and other pet goodies, and of course the standard log book and pen.
Keep an eye out for mountain bikers and rattlesnakes in the warm weather, and check your 4-legged geocaching partners for ticks when you get back. No bushwhacking please!
